Vaginal Rejuvenation - Procedures we offer:

NON-SURGICAL:

Plasma Vaginal Rejuvenation: A non-surgical procedure that uses Neogen Nitrogen Plasma technology and radiofrequency (rf) applied to the external genitalia (labia majora and minora) to stimulate collagen production, tighten and improve the appearance of the external vaginal tissues. There is minimal discomfort and downtime associated with this procedure.

PRX-T33 Chemical peel: applied to the external genitalia produces light chemical resurfacing, improving hyperpigmentation and the appearance of crepey skin

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Injections: Involves injecting platelet-rich plasma into vaginal tissues to promote healing, rejuvenation and may ehnance the overall sexual experience.

SURGICAL:

“SCARLESS” External Vaginal Rejuvenation: A minimally invasive surgical option, helium rf plasma (Renuvion) is applied underneath the skin of the external genitalia to stimulate collagen production, tighten, improve blood flow, and rejuvenate without skin excision, therefore no incisional scars and minimal downtime.
Labiaplasty: A surgical procedure to reshape or reduce the size of the labia minora or labia majora for aesthetic or comfort reasons.
Vaginoplasty: A surgical procedure aimed at tightening the internal vaginal canal.

In your initial consultation regarding Vaginal Rejuvenation, Dr. Lacerna will evaluate your health and will be frank in discussing your expectations of your post-surgical results. Again, she will give you specific instructions on how to prepare for surgery, including guidelines on eating and drinking, smoking, and taking or avoiding vitamins, iron tablets and certain medications. Be sure to arrange for someone to drive you home after the vaginal rejuvenation surgery.

Dr. Melinda Lacerna is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. She is a fellow the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). Dr. Lacerna obtained her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. She received her general surgery training at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles and her plastic surgery training at Temple University in Philadelphia.
