Over the past 20 years, Dr. Kimbrell has consistently honed his surgical skills, always intertwining his work with his interest in fitness and wellness. Dr. Kimbrell began his medical journey at the University of Illinois, where he graduated from the Medical School in 1997. Following his graduation, he relocated to Southern California to complete his General Surgery residency. His relentless pursuit of expertise led him to undertake a two-year surgical fellowship at the prestigious University of Southern California.

He is also skilled in Musculoskeletal Injections. A member of The Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and The Institute for Functional Medicine, Dr. Kimbrell firmly believes in the integration of traditional medical practices with functional medicine to provide the best care for his patients. Beyond his professional life, Dr. Kimbrell has a range of interests that contribute to his overall philosophy of health and wellness. An active individual, he enjoys running, cycling, cross-fit, snow skiing, and SCUBA diving. His love for music is evident as he is a member of a local performing cover band, showcasing his singing talent.
