During the consult, we begin with a thorough full body analysis with our SHAPE Scale, which scans the body to document areas of excess fat pockets, in addition to obtaining body circumference measurements and body mass index (BMI). Next, during the pre-operative process, the areas of excess fat are marked for removal during surgery. Areas of fat deficiency or areas where more volume is desired (such as face, breasts, buttocks, hips in women, chest, shoulders and buttocks for men) are identified for fat transfer. Any areas of cellulite can also be addressed with our AVELI cellulite removal system. We also perform a comprehensive health history and blood panel analysis to see if our patient can also benefit from our weight loss and hormone replacement therapy wellness programs. Our patients start their pre-operative healing vitamins with arnica and bromelain to improve their post-operative recovery.
Once adequate anesthesia is provided, we begin with VASER Ultrasound to emulsify the fat, followed by fat aspiration with power assisted liposuction. Additional etching is performed to highlight one’s own musculature, and produce VASER HI-DEF SIX PACK ABS. Some of the fat can be saved for fat transfer later in the procedure. Once reduction contouring is done, we treat all areas with RENUVION subdermal skin tightening. Traditional liposuction alone can cause contour irregularities and extra skin loosening, so VASER and RENUVION are crucial to our amazing results!
