The plasma beam’s most popular application is for face and neck skin resurfacing and skin tightening. It is also very effective in the upper and lower eyelids, producing a scarless, non-surgical, no skin excision upper and lower eyelid lift!
Neogen treatments can be categorized as high energy, medium energy, and low energy treatments. The high energy (3.0 J- 4.0 J) can be utilized for deep skin resurfacing for lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick 1-3) as a one and done treatment, to permanently eliminate superficial and deep wrinkles, sun damage, uneven skin pigmentation, pre-cancerous skin lesions, benign skin lesions, surgical and acne scars. The medium energy (1.0 J-2.9 J) can be used for medium depth skin resurfacing for Fitzpatrick 3-4 patients, and can be used to resurface the neck, chest, arms, legs and even abdomen to remove stretch marks! The light energy (0.5 J-0.9J) can be used as lighter “spa” lunchtime plasma peels to resurface and tighten the skin, for all skin types, including (Fitzpatrick 4-6) or hispanic, Asian and African American skin! This is unlike all the other laser treatments in the market that are contraindicated for Fitzpatrick 4-6 patients due to the possibility of hypertrophic scarring or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
