Renuvion Technology Overview and Benefits
Renuvion LA Plastic Surgery combines radiofrequency (RF) energy with helium gas, producing a “cool beam” plasma. The gentle heat produced by the plasma is applied underneath the skin during a surgical procedure, to induce collagen synthesis, contract tissue and tighten skin. In addition, this “cool beam” plasma can be applied on top of the skin of the face in lighter-skinned individuals (Fitzpatrick 1-3) to resurface the skin, remove fine and deep wrinkles and address uneven pigmentation and skin tone. It is the only device that is FDA cleared for both tissue contraction below the chin area and neck, and for resurfacing the facial skin in lighter-skinned individuals. Skin and tissue quality can continue to improve up to a year after the procedure, due to the continued collagen synthesis and tissue remodeling that occur in the treated areas.
