What Sexual Health
Treatment Can Help With
Common reasons patients come to see us:
Low sex drive or loss of interest
Vaginal dryness or pain during sex
Laxity or changes after childbirth
Labial discomfort with exercise or tight clothing
Light bladder leaks
Low energy, poor sleep and mood changes linked to hormones
Hormone plans start with testing. Before any hormone therapy, you complete a symptom questionnaire, a physical exam and blood work, so your treatment is based on your own levels rather than a standard dose.
Sexual Wellness Treatments for Women
Treatment Options for Women
Non-surgical care and surgery, both performed by Dr. Lacerna:
Neogen plasma and radiofrequency: non-surgical treatment of the external labia with minimal downtime.
PRP injections: platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to support healing, which may also improve sensation.
PRX-T33 peel: for darkened or crepey skin in the area.
Labiaplasty: reshapes the labia to ease rubbing and discomfort.
Vaginoplasty: tightens the vaginal canal, often after childbirth.
Renuvion: helium plasma energy under the skin that tightens tissue without excision scars.
Sexual Health Treatments for Men
As testosterone drops with age, many men notice a lower sex drive and weaker performance before anything else. Dr. Kimbrell checks your levels with blood work and builds a hormone plan if testing shows you need one.
Signs of low testosterone include:
Reduced sex drive
Weaker erections or performance
Low energy and fatigue
Loss of muscle and more body fat
Trouble concentrating
Mood changes
Testosterone Pellets for Men and Women
Pellets are about the size of a grain of rice and are placed under the skin of the hip. They release hormone steadily over several months, so there are no daily gels and none of the weekly highs and lows that can come with shots.
Dr. Kimbrell explains why creams and shots do not work for everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my consultation private?
Yes. Your visit is one-on-one with your provider in a private room, and your health information is protected under HIPAA. Share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.
Do I need surgery?
Most patients do not. Hormone therapy, Neogen plasma and PRP are all non-surgical. Labiaplasty, vaginoplasty and Renuvion are options when non-surgical care is not enough or you want a longer-lasting change.
How is hormone therapy given?
Options include pills, patches, gels, sprays, injections and pellets placed under the skin. Women with dryness may also use vaginal creams, tablets or rings. Your provider recommends a form based on your blood work and what fits your routine.
How much downtime is there?
Non-surgical treatments such as Neogen plasma usually need very little downtime. Surgery means a short recovery at home, and you will need someone to drive you home that day. You get a recovery plan at your consultation.
How much does treatment cost?
Cost depends on your treatment plan. Call (941) 954-4500 for current pricing. Our Wellness Membership includes savings on hormone therapy.
Where do you offer sexual health treatment?
LA Plastic Surgery is at 5301 4th Ave Cir E in Bradenton, FL, and sees patients from Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and nearby communities.
